Alpharetta man arrested on DUI warrant from 2020 Gordon County traffic stop

According to a Gordon County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On March 14th, 2020, at 2:23 PM, Deputy Ochoa responded to Resaca Lafayette Road next to the I-75 Bridge in reference to Deputy Jones requesting for another unit to be en route to his location for assistance on a possible DUI driver that the 911 had given a BOLO as a possible intoxicated driver. Deputy Jones advised Deputy Ochoa that the Nissan Frontier pulled out from Hyde Road onto Hall Memorial and almost caused a crash. According to the report, “Deputy Jones stated when he approached the Frontier to talk to the driver, Hayden Harris Bray, 27, of Alpharetta, GA, he could smell an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Mr. Bray. Deputy Jones advised Deputy Ochoa he believed Mr. Bray was intoxicated. Deputy Jones advised Deputy Ochoa he asked Mr. Bray if he had been drinking. Mr. Bray advised him he had only had one beer a little while ago but then changed his story, saying he went to a party. Deputy Ochoa noticed Mr. Bray’s eyes glossy when he was talking to him.” Deputy Ochoa requested Sergeant Jones for assistance. During field sobriety testing, Bray showed several signs of impairment. Warrants against him for DUI and failure to yield were taken out on him. On May 1st, 2023, Bray was booked into the Gordon County Jail on the warrants.
