Adairsville woman arrested again for DUI after failing to maintain her lane in Gordon County

According to a Gordon County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On March 10th, 2023, at approximately 11:31 PM, Deputy Ralston was on routine patrol when he observed a 2000 black in color Jeep Grand Cherokee with the left taillight not working while driving south on Cash Road. The vehicle proceeded to drive over the double yellow line after turning onto Wesley Chapel. Deputy Ralston then conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver with, Lamanda Fatih Burger, 42, of Adairsville. According to the report, “Deputy Ralston immediately smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from Burgers’s person while she was speaking to Deputy Ralston. Burger stated she had left work and was heading home. Deputy Ralston ran Burger’s license through NCIC, coming back suspended for DUI. The offense date was April 21st, 2021 suspended date was August 19th, 2021.” During standardized Field Sobriety Tests, she showed several signs of impairment. Burger was placed under arrest for DUI alcohol and refused the state test. Deputies located an open container of alcohol inside her vehicle. Burger was then transported to the Gordon County Jail and charged with DUI, driving while suspended, failing to maintain a single lane, and open container violation.
