According to Chattooga County Magistrate Court records, Ricky Allen Sprayberry, 41, of Rock Spring, allegedly molested a girl in 2021 at a North Chattooga Avenue residence. Preteen girl advised a teacher and a school counselor and it was reported to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office. Reports state Sprayberry was involved in at least two incidents between April 1, 2021 and June 28, 2021. Sprayberry was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on Saturday charged with child molestation, aggravated child molestation and a probation violation. According to court records, Sprayberry has a lengthy criminal history and in 2012 was charged with first-degree arson and burglary, along with drug charges, stemming from an incident on Old Justice Road in the Welcome Hill area in Trion.
