Rossville man arrested again for DUI after speeding on Hwy 2 in Walker County

According to a Georgia State Patrol incident report, On June 26th, 2023, at approximately 9:13 PM, Trooper Walthour was traveling eastbound on State Route 2 when he observed a black 2018 Subaru WRX with a large spoiler speeding at 76 in a 45 MPH zone. Trooper Walthour performed a traffic stop on Park City Road and made contact with the driver Daniel Stanislav Livarchuk, 26, of Rossville. Trooper Walthour reported, “Upon walking up to the vehicle, [I] immediately noticed the driver’s eyes to be bloodshot, watery, and droopy. I also detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. [I] explained my reason for the traffic stop and asked him to produce his driver’s license. He stated he had a Georgia driver’s license but did not have it on his person. [I] then leaned in towards the window with my notepad to write his information down. [I] had to ask him to repeat himself many times because he kept turning his head away from me while asking the spelling of his name. After writing all his information down, he then asked if [I] wanted to see his Tennessee driver’s license, which was not valid.” The trooper explained he could smell the strong odor of alcohol on his breath and advised he had nothing to drink. Livarchuk then refused to perform field sobriety tests and a PBT. Livarchuk was placed under arrest for DUI and agreed to the state test. While inventorying the vehicle, the trooper located a very cold can of Corona with condensation in the front passenger floorboard that was opened with a straw in it. The drink had spilled in the center console area and all over the floorboard as if he had quickly thrown it during the traffic stop. There was also another full cold can of Corona in a black bag beside the open container. Livarchuk was transported to the Walker County Jail, charged with DUI, speeding, expired tag, open container violation, driving without a license on person, driving with different license plates on vehicle to conceal identity, seatbelt violation, and no insurance. According to jail records, Livarchuk has a lengthy arrest record for DUI, and on May 26th, 2023, he was arrested by GSP for DUI after speeding at 96 mph on Highway 27 in Walker County. He was also arrested on June 1st for DUI and Open container law.
