Tag reader helps recover vehicle stolen out of Pennsylvania in Gordon County, Indiana man arrested
According to a Georgia State Patrol incident report, "on Friday, September 11th, 2020, the license plate reader in Catoosa County flagged a stolen red Chrysler 300. A GCIC records check of the tag revealed that the car was stolen out of Pennsylvania. At approximately 3:11 PM, TF3 Haney observed the vehicle traveling south on 1-75 near mile marker 319. The red Chrysler exited off the interstate at exit 318 and pulled into the Shell Gas Station on GA 3. The trooper activated his emergency equipment to perform a traffic stop. Trooper Haney reported, "[I] performed a felony stop on the vehicle with the assistance of Gordon County Deputy Powell. The driver complied and was detained without incident. The Chrysler was confirmed stolen. The driver, identified as Nathaniel Renardo Graham Jr., 26 of South Bend, Indiana, transported to the Gordon County Jail by Gordon County Deputy Jones charged with theft by receiving stolen vehicle.
