Georgia State Patrol Investigating fatal hit and run in Paulding County
This information is being shared by the Sheriff’s Office on behalf of the Georgia State Patrol. On November 19, 2018, at approximately 7:09 PM, Paulding County E-911 received a call regarding a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on GA 120 near the intersection of Scoggins Road. Upon arrival, Paulding County Deputies and Georgia State Patrol Troopers located the deceased body of a white female along the roadside. The female had injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Investigating Deputies and Troopers located a right side mirror housing that was near the victim. The mirror housing contained numbers that were identified through the investigation. The mirror was from a 2010 thru 2018 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty pickup truck. The mirror housing was from the right side of the truck.
