Florida man arrested for DUI after speeding and driving all over I-75 in Gordon County

According to a Gordon County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On September 12th, 2023 at 12:57 AM, Deputy Sergeant Daniel was patrolling the area Interstate 75 South Bound in the area of mile marker 319 when he observed a Chevrolet passenger car displaying Florida registration of CD32UE driving at 86 mph. Sergeant Daniel then observed the vehicle fail to maintain a single lane several times. Sergeant Daniel conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Anthony Todd Bullard, 62, of Deland, Florida. According to the report, “While Sgt Daniel was speaking to Bullard, he observed his eyes were glassy, and his speech was slurred, and Sgt Daniel could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person.” During field sobriety testing, Bullard showed several signs of impairment and was deemed not safe to operate vehicle. Bullard was booked into the Gordon County Jail, charged with speeding, DUI, failure to maintain a single lane, open container violation, and cracked windshield.
