Drug task force agents locate over two pounds of meth during traffic stop in Chattooga County

According to Chattooga County Magistrate Court records, Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force Agents seized more than two pounds of methamphetamine in the Ingles parking lot on March 1st, at 3:35 PM. During the traffic stop, agents observed a gallon-sized Ziploc bag allegedly containing 2.2 pounds worth of methamphetamine sitting in the driver’s side floorboard of Michelle Kristin Lavergne, 42, of Woodstock, vehicle. Lavergne admitted to agents she was in the process of selling the methamphetamine to an un-identified individual. Lavergne was booked into the Chattooga County Jail, charged with trafficking meth, possession of meth and possession of meth with intent to distribute.
