Wanted felon found in possession of gun after 911 call from concerned citizen in Catoosa County

According to a Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On March 27th, 2023, at 11:40 AM, Deputy Baird was dispatched to an address on Morris Drive in Ringgold in reference to a neighbor calling 911 stating she witnessed a white male enter a house who had warrants and was not supposed to be there. Deputies, detectives, and U.S. Marshall’s set up a perimeter around the house and began to call out to the suspect, identified as Gabriel Ethan Jones, 28, of Ringgold, to get him to come outside. The female who lives at the residence called over the ring doorbell camera and stated that Jones was not in the house. The female stated they could enter the residence through the back door in, which she leaves open throughout the day. The female was told the neighbor called in and told 911 Jones was in the house, and she ultimately confirmed he was in the house. Catoosa County Detectives and U.S Marshall’s entered the residence and located Jones. Jones was arrested and transported to the Catoosa County Jail. During a search of the room where Jones came from, deputies located a loaded gun and marijuana. Jones was charged with felony probation violation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and obstruction.
