Rome men wanted for Burger King armed robbery added to Floyd County’s top 10 most wanted

Two men have been added to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted list. Eric Alamia, 38, of Rome, and Tyler Tremaine Gibbons, 39, of Rome, are accused of entering the West Rome Burger King on March 5th, and threatening the staff with a pistol while demanding cash. Alamia is 5 feet 7 inches tall and 180 pounds with an Atlanta Hawks tattoo on the front of his neck. Gibbons is 6 feet 4 inches tall and 210 pounds. Both men are charged with felony kidnapping x2, armed robbery x2, aggravated assault x2 and false imprisonment x2. Derricus Jamar Wade, 33, of Rome, who was an employee of the restaurant at the time of the robbery, has already been arrested. According to reprts, Wade, who was an employee at the restaurant at the time, showed up after hours and told employees that he was hungry and asked if the manager would cook him a hamburger. After he was allowed inside, Wade proceeded to let two men who were armed with guns inside where they were able to take an escape with $3,350.40 in cash.
