According to Floyd County Police Department, On Saturday, May 13th, 2023, at around 2:00 p.m., a Dodge pickup crossed the center line on Alabama Highway (GA-20), just before Vann Road clipped a Nissan Altima, and then struck another Dodge Ram head-on. Trevor Jo Lee Britt, 50, of Rome, was killed in the crash. The other occupants involved in the crash reported non-life threatening injures.
