Rockmart man arrested on aggravated child molestation charges in Floyd County

According to a Floyd County warrant, Jaylon Shamontae Ware, 28, of Rockmart, is accused of traveling to Floyd County to meet someone he thought was 14 years old for the purpose of engaging in sex acts. Ware made online contact with the person, sent pornographic videos, engaged in graphic conversations, and asked for nude pictures before trying to meet up. During his arrest, Ware was found with less than an ounce of marijuana. Ware was booked into the Floyd County Jail, charged with aggravated child molestation (criminal attempt), sexual exploitation of children, use of a computer to entice a child, electronically furnishing obscene materials to a minor, obscene internet contact with a child, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
