Oklahoma man arrested for DUI after call of suspicious vehicle in Floyd County

According to a Floyd County Police Department incident report, On November 18th, 2022, at 11:57 PM, Officer Evans and Officer Surrett were dispatched to Calhoun Road near Ga. 53 for a suspicious vehicle. Officers arrived and noticed the vehicle was still running with the headlights in the on position. Officers located someone in the driver’s side seat and made contact. According to the report, “Officers Evans knocked on the window located on the passenger side. As the driver, identified as Zackary Neil Tebow, 32, of Enid, Oklahoma, saw Officers Evans, he panicked and started swatting toward his flashlight.” Officer Surrett reported, “While speaking with Zachary, [I] asked him why he was parked there, and he said he just pulled over. Zachary stated he was coming from Nashville, and upon asking where he was going, he told me once again that he was coming from Nashville and that he could not think right now and was unsure of where he was going. [I] asked Zackary for his identification, and as he started to dig around in his vehicle, [I] noticed a 750ml bottle of Evan Williams whiskey in his cup holder with the top off. While speaking with Zackary, he stated he did not have anything to drink and that he did not know the alcohol was in the vehicle. Zackary stated if he did have anything to drink, he did not know how much. Zackary advised he stopped in Huntsville to see someone, but no one was ever in the vehicle with him.” During field sobriety testing, Zackary showed several signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DUI. Zackary was transported to the Floyd County Jail and charged with DUI and open container violation.
