Kingston woman arrested for DUI after driving all over the roadway in Floyd County

According to a Floyd County Police Department incident report, On April 5th, 2023, at 9:39 PM, Officer Surrett was patrolling the area of Morrison Camp Ground Road when he observed a white SUV failing to maintain lane multiple times. Officer Surrett initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, later identified as Kelly Ann Bradshaw, 61, of Kingston. Officer Surrett reported, “[I] asked Kelly where she was coming from, and she advised she was coming from El Zarape off of Broad Street. [I] then asked Kelly if she had anything to drink, and she advised she had a beer and a shot of tequila about 15-20 minutes prior to driving.” Sgt. Tetsworth arrived on the scene and assisted. During field sobriety tests, Kelly showed several signs of impairment. Kelly was placed under arrest for DUI and agreed to the state test. Kelly was transported to Floyd County Jail and charged with DUI and failing to maintain lane.
