According to a Georgia State Patrol incident report, On march 16th, 2023, at 5:16 PM, Trooper Whitfield was traveling north on 1-75 near mile marker 347. Trooper Whitfield observed two motorcycles traveling south at a high rate of speed and confirmed they were traveling 125 mph in a 70 mph zone. Trooper Whitfield put out a BOLO. Trooper Story heard the BOLO and observed the motorcycles near MM 333. She was able to get the 2013 Yamaha YZFR1 motorcycle stopped. The motorcyclist identified as Eric Inocencio Lun, 23, of Dalton, stated that he was going 125 mph with the other motorcycle. Trooper Whitfield placed him under arrest for speeding and reckless driving. Eric WAS transported him to the Catoosa County Jail and booked.
