Convicted felon found in possession of guns and meth after anonymous tip in Catoosa County

According to a Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On January 27th, 2023, a Catoosa County detective received an anonymous tip that Robert Edward Moore, 54, of Ringgold, was selling methamphetamine and trading drugs for guns. On that day at approximately 2:17 pm, detectives and a GBI special agent responded to 117 Winston Lane Ringgold, GA, to attempt to make contact with Moore. Contact was made with Moore, and he consented to a search of the residence. During the search, detectives located meth and three guns. Moore was taken into custody and transported to the Catoosa County Jail, charged with possession of meth, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon during a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon x3.
