Chattanooga woman assaults security guards and fires gun after being kicked out of the Oyster Pub in Dalton

According to a Dalton Police Department incident report, On May 21st, 2023, at 1:32 AM, Officer Dykes, Officer Bethune, Officer Wingate, Officer Shope, Officer Sosa, and Lt. Woods responded to a report of a female with a gun at 933 Market St the Oyster Pub. While en route, dispatch advised that shots had been fired. Dispatch also advised that the suspect was leaving in a vehicle occupied by four females and that all the females involved were from Chattanooga, TN. Officer Wingate was the first officer to arrive and started to control the evidence located at the scene. The security guard at the entrance to the Oyster Pub advised Lacandrice Colvin, 29, of Chattanooga, TN, was causing a disturbance. He advised they were removing her from the Oyster Pub. During the process, Colvin went crazy and started to swing at them. He said that Colvin was giving them a fight for their money. He said that Colvin was punching and kicking the security guard staff. He said that once they made it to the door, Colvin was still fighting them. He said that another female later found out to be Brionna Armour, grabbed his flashlight and started assaulting them as well. He said that he then went after Armour and grabbed his flashlight from her, and wrestled her out the door. He said that the security guards were able to pepper spray a least two of the females involved. He said that Colvin then retrieved a gun from the vehicle and returned to the front doors of the pub, holding a gun in her hand. The security guard advised he then drew his handgun and took cover. He said that when Colvin saw that he had a gun, she went back into the parking lot area just outside of the entrance to the bar. He said that he then went outside and still had his handgun pointed at Colvin. He said that he took cover behind the brick column and had his gun pointed at her. He said that Colvin was cussing and making threats while walking away. He said that he gave Colvin commands to put the “Damn gun away or he was going to blow her away”. He said that he was still on her at this time with his gun pointed at her. He said that he was going to shoot Colvin but did not due to there being a crowd of people behind her. He said that Colvin walked further into the parking lot and opened fire into the air. The other security guards confirmed this information when interviewed by officers. The security guards described the assault involving several of the females. The guards advised one of the female’s clothes was even ripped during the attack. The pub wanted all individuals involved to have trespassed from the pub. A Whitfield County deputy located the vehicle and suspects at Mapco 799 North Varnell Road. Detective Murray responded and assisted with the case. Detective Murray interviewed Brionna Armour, Sheaira Derrick, Lakendra Evans, Destiny Solomon, and Colvin. Lt. Woods explained to all the females that the Oyster Pub wanted them all trespassed from the bar, and if they returned that they would be arrested for criminal trespass. Officers located the gun in the 2012 Ford Explorer with TN tag. Colvin was booked into the Whitfield County Jail, charged with aggravated assault (gun), reckless conduct, simple battery, and possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a felony.
