Chatsworth woman found in possession of meth while driving stolen vehicle in Whitfield County

According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On April 8th, 2023, at 4:35 AM, Deputy McClure was patrolling when he received a notification reporting a stolen car on Chatsworth Hwy. Deputy McClure located the stolen 2012 Chevy Impala westbound on Chatsworth Hwy. Deputy McClure ran the vehicle registration through NCIC, and the vehicle was shown to be stolen through Murray County. Deputy McClure Advised his dispatch to run the vehicle’s registration, and they confirmed the vehicle was showing to be stolen. The vehicle made a right turn onto Cleveland Hwy and then a right into the Mapco gas station located at 1406 Cleveland Hwy. Deputy McClure made a traffic stop at Mapco. Deputy McClure exited his vehicle and conducted a felony takedown taking the driver to gunpoint. The driver, later identified as Felicia Cloer, 43, of Chatsworth, was then taken into custody. Cloer stated that her friend allowed her to borrow the vehicle to go see a friend. She stated that the meth pipe in her pocket was not hers and was in the middle cup holder, and when she saw the blue lights, she got scared and put it in her pocket. Deputy McClure conducted a search of the stolen vehicle and located meth, a scale, and other drug-related stuff. Cloer was transported to the Whitfield County Jail, where she was charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug-related objects.
