Wanted felons arrested after traffic stop for blue headlights on Walnut Ave in Dalton

According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On March 1st, 2023, at 9:59 PM, Deputy Sharpe observed a white 2001 Chevrolet truck going eastbound on Walnut Ave with blue lights as headlights. Deputy Sharpe conducted a traffic stop and spoke to the driver Jeremy Stan Baker, 45, of Calhoun, and the front-seat passenger, who refused to identify himself. Deputy Sharpe was able to identify the male Dustin Ray Patterson, 36, of Chatsworth. Deputy Sharpe confirmed the name and date of birth of Patterson. Patterson was showing an active felony warrant out of Murray County. Baker also showed to have an active felony warrant out of Whitfield County and a warrant out of Gordon County. Deputy Woods took Patterson to the Murray County line, and Murray County picked up Patterson. Baker was transported to the Whitfield County Jail charged with felony shoplifting warrant and removing a license plate from a vehicle or affixes to a vehicle a license plate not authorized by law.
