Woman killed by ex-husband in domestic murder-suicide Tuesday in Catoosa County. According to the Sheriff's Office Sharon Kathleen Kell, 51, was shot and killed by David Bryan White, 51. Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk says a man and woman are both dead after an apparent murder-suicide Tuesday afternoon. Catoosa County Deputies were dispatched around 4:55 PM to 191 Clara Lee Road off near Cloud Springs Road in reference to a domestic call advising Temporary Protective Order (TPO) violation. Within minutes a deputy arrived in the area advising shots were being fired and requested further assistance. Ringgold Police Department, Fort Oglethorpe Police Department, Georgia State Patrol responded to assist the sheriff's office. Deputies approached the house and found a man and woman in the front yard deceased. Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Nelly Miles said agents with the GBI were assisting the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office with the investigation. Sheriff's Sisk said in an interview that domestic disputes and issues are very dangerous. Sheriff Sisk also said that there were two kids and another person inside the house at the time of the incident, they were not injured. Sisk said in a release “This is the cycle of family violence that a number of families in our community go through that we need to continue to bring awareness to and offer assistance for every chance we get,” Sisk said. “No one ever really knows what the victim goes through daily. It won’t bring this mother, sister, daughter back, but this is an issue that needs constant discussion, awareness, and action. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.”
