Woman airlifted after head-on crash in LaFayette Sunday night
Woman airlifted after head-on crash in LaFayette Sunday night. Authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash at 911 North Chattanooga Street around 9:35 P.M. Sunday. Once on scene, they found they found a head-on crash with several injuries. According to LaFayette Police, a 2005 Chrysler 300 failed to maintain its lane and struck a 2005 Chevrolet Impala with its left front. The driver of the Impala had to be extracted from the vehicle by LaFayette Fire Department, due to her injuries she was airlifted from the Walmart Parking lot by LifeForce. The woman who hasn't been identified yet was transported to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. The driver of the Chrysler was also injured and is was issued a citation for failure to maintain single lane.
