Vehicle pursuit ends with rollover crash with DUI suspect being ejected in Catoosa
Around 8:20P.M. Wednesday October 24th a Catoosa County Deputy notice a male subject urinating in the parking lot of the VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital off Boynton Drive. The suspect identified as Mark Reed Isbill, 54 of Tennessee got into his 2009 Ford Fusion. When the deputy went to get Isbill out of the vehicle he took off leading the deputy on a vehicle pursuit. The deputy suspected Isbill of being under the influence. The pursuit turned northbound onto Three Notch Road going through the Highway 2 intersection. The pursuit continued traveling northbound on Three Notch Road at a high rate of speed. While negotiating a left curve near Lemon Lane Isbill's Ford Fusion left the right edge of the roadway and started to rotate counterclockwise. The Fusions right side tires dug into the ground and started to roll. As the Fusion was overturning it struck a mailbox and continued north sliding on its top. Mark Isbill was ejected from his Fusion as it started to overturn and came to a final rest in the southbound lane. The Fusion came to a final rest on its top facing west in the northbound lane of Three Notch Road. Isbill was transported by Puckett EMS to Erlanger in Chattanooga. Mark Isbill is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other, use of safety belts in passenger vehicles, driving on roadways laned for traffic, too fast for conditions, reckless driving, Open Container, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement and more.
