Summerville man facing multiple charges including DUI following crash which ejected passenger

According to a Georgia State Patrol crash report Tuesday April 9th around 7:58 P.M. Landon Reynolds of Summerville was driving a 2015 Infiniti traveling south on GA-1 (Highway 27) in the right lane negotiating a curve in a very reckless manor and the lost control. The Infiniti began rotating counter clockwise exiting the left side of the roadway. The Infiniti struck an embankment with its passenger side and began overturning. Infiniti overturned several times before coming to an uncontrolled final rest on its driver side. The passenger Caitlin Wells of Summerville was ejected through the windshield during the crash. The driver Reynolds was injured and taken to Hamilton Medical center via Puckett EMS. The passenger Wells was airlifted via LifeForce to Erlanger Medical in Chattanooga. Both have since been released from the hospital. The driver Reynolds is facing charges of reckless driving, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and DUI less safe.
Previously: The Georgia State Patrol says charges are pending after violent single-vehicle rollover crash which injured two people Tuesday evening in Southern Walker County. The crash happened around 7:54 P.M. on GA-1 (Highway 27) just north of Highway 151. Georgia State Patrol troopers say preliminary information say a 2015 Infiniti Q50 Base being driven by Landon Reynolds of Summerville was traveling southbound on GA-1 negotiating a curve. The Infiniti went into the grass medium and began flipping serval times traveling 500+ feet before coming to a uncontrolled rest. The passenger identified as Caitlin Wells of Summerville was ejected through the windshield during the crash and was airlifted from the scene by LifeForce to Erlanger in Chattanooga. The driver Reynolds was also injured in the crash and was transported by ground to a local hospital via Puckett EMS. Georgia State Patrol SCRT was contacted and is assisting in the serious single-vehicle crash. We will have further information once inis released.
