Two arrested after fleeing from Catoosa County deputy Wednesday afternoon
A Ringgold man and woman were both arrested Wednesday afternoon on multiple charges after fleeing from Catoosa County Deputy. The incident started around 2:10P.M. Teusday afternoon when a Catoosa County deputy attampted to stop a blue 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer being driven by Joseph Reich, 52 of Ringgold on Battlefield Parkway. Reich failed to pull over immediately turning down Three Notch Road. Riech finally stopped on T J Arnold Ciricle just off Three Notch Road where he fled from the Trailblazer on foot along with a female passenger identified as Alysia Quarles, 34 of Ringgold. The deputy was able to quickly arrest Quarles following a brief foot pursuit. Reich was arrested shortly after following a search he is being charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving while license suspended or revoked, possession of a schedule II controlled substance (x2) possession and use of drug related objects, operate vehicle without valid tag, and obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers. Quarles is being charged with probation violation (felony) , possession of a schedule II controlled substance (x2) possession and use of drug related objects, and obstruction or hindering law enforcement.
