Trion man seriously injured in crash at Highway 27 and 151 last Wednesday in Walker County

According to family Terry Greene the man involved in the crash succumbed to his injuries Friday, September 18th, 2020.
According to a Georgia State Patrol crash report, on Wednesday September 9th, 2020 at around 6:30 PM, a 2019 Ford EcoSport being driven by Terry Greene, 44 of Trion, was traveling west on GA 151, and came to a stop at stop sign. A 2018 Freight liner being driven by Stacey Gibson, 55 of Gadsden, Alabama, was traveling north in the outside lane of GA 1. Greene proceeded into the intersection of GA 1 at GA 151, and made contact with the semi's front end, with the EcoSports left side. The area of impact occurred in the outside lane. After impact, the semi pushed the EcoSport into the inside lane of GA 1, crossing the center line. Both vehicles came to a final rest, slightly north of GA 1 at GA 151. The area of impact was determined using brake marks, vehicle fluids, vehicle property damage, witness and driver statements. Greene was seriously injured in the crash and transported to Erlanger Medical center in Chattanooga. Greene was given two warnings.
