Tennessee man arrested after shoplifting pack of socks from Walmart on East Walnut Avenue
The following was copied directly from an incident report filed by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office regarding shoplifting incident:
On March 22, 2020, at approximately 1544 hours, a deputy was dispatched to Wal-Mart located at 2545 E Walnut Ave in reference to a shoplifting. The deputy arrived on scene and met with Loss Prevention Officer [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] stated a white male later to be identified as Nicholas Minutelli, 25, of Springhill, TN, was observed selecting and concealing merchandise. Mr. Minutelli was then observed walking out of the store with the stolen merchandise on his person. The Wal-Mart Loss Prevention Staff then apprehended Mr. Minutelli and escorted him back to the Loss Prevention Office. The merchandise that Mr. Minutelli stole was a pack of socks that was valued at eight dollars and seventy-seven cents The deputy placed Mr. Minutelli into custody and transported him to the Whitfield County Correctional Center and turned him over to the Whitfield County Booking Staff without incident. The deputy wrote Mr. Minutelli Magistrate Court Citation number 00234 for O.C.G.A. 16-8-14 Theft by Shoplifting Misd.
