Several more shoplifters caught shoplifting from East Walnut Avenue Walmart in Dalton

According to Whitfield County Sheriff's Office incident reports, on October 16th, 2020, at approximately 4:30, a deputy was dispatched to the Walmart located at 2545 East Walnut Avenue in reference to a shoplifting. The deputy arrived and spoke to the loss prevention associate, who stated that Cagney Arnold, 34 of Chatsworth, bagged numerous items without attempting to purchase them. Phillip Arnold, 35 of Chatsworth, then took the shopping cart with the items in the cart past all points of sale. The items skipped scanned was worth $71.87. The deputy issued Magistrate citations to both subjects for theft by shoplifting. On the same day at approximately 7:27 PM, another deputy was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress. The deputy arrived and met with the asset protection associate. The associate stated that Christopher Bunn, 38 of Cohutta, and Natasha Taylor, 31 of Cohutta, were observed selecting cheap .25 cent merchandise and removing the barcodes. They then placed the barcodes on more expensive items. Bunn and Taylor then left the building with the items that were not purchased. They were stopped by asset protection associates and brought to the office. RC Stunt Car ($24.88), HT Door Lock ($9.87), Hotwheels Car ($19.97), Wrapping Paper ($3.98), Hotwheels Cars (19.97) were all recovered from Bunn and Taylor for a total cost $78.68. The deputy issued a Magistrate Court citations to both subjects for theft by shoplifting with a court date of November 12th, 2020, at 09:00 AM.
