Rome man arrested on numerous charges including DUI after being stopped for speeding
Michael Bruce Jordan, 37 of Rome, was arrested Thursday morning following a traffic stop on the Loop at Redmond Circle that led Georgia State Patrol Trooper to find numerous drugs. Reports said that a Georgia State Trooper clocked Jordan traveling 64 in a 45 zone while attempting to stop Jordan the Trooper notice Jordan fail to maintain his lane multiple times. While speaking with Jordan, the Trooper detected the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of he vehicle was conducted, which lead the trooper to find marijuana and methamphetamine. the report also stats Jordan had altered the car’s license plate, the registration had been cancelled and that he had no valid insurance. Jordan is being charged with DUI, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, driving without license, having a cracked windshield, concealing the identity of a vehicle, alteration of license plate, driving on an expired tag, driving without insurance, driving on expired license, failure to maintain lane and speeding.
