One person injured in Highway 114 crash in Chattooga County

One person was transported to Floyd Medical Center by Redmond EMS after crashing on Highway 114 Sunday October 14th around 10:34 A.M.. According to the Georgia State Patrol Kelsey White, 18 of Kingston was traveling south on GA 114 in her 2013 Hyundai. When she went off the west side of the roadway. She then reentered the roadway before leaving the east side of the roadway where she then rotated and overturned. The Hyundai came to an uncontrolled rest on its wheels facing north, off the east side of the roadway. She traveled 392 feet from where it initially left the roadway to final rest. White stated she was driving faster than the posted speed limit and has dozed off, and lost control of her vehicle. She also stated to the trooper she thought her Hyundai had brake problems. White was issued one citation and given a couple of warnings.
