Northwest Georgia Health District confirms Fort Oglethorpe Krystal employee had hepatitis A

The Northwest Georgia Health District confirms to Northwest Georgia Scanner a employee (food handler) at the Krystal in Fort Oglethorpe at 2560 Lafayette Road (Highway 27) has been diagnosed with hepatitis A. The employee had hepatitis A from March 15th to March 24th. The Northwest Georgia Health is urging customers who have recently visited the Krystal to get vaccinated. Symptoms of hepatitis-a include loss of appetite, nausea, fatigue, fever, dark urine and light-colored stool. Yellowing of the skin or eyes may also appear.
