No one injured after mobile home goes up in flames in LaFayette Monday night

LaFayette Police have arrested a homeless man for arson after starting fire that destroyed a mobile home late Monday Night on Fortune Street. Joseph Alexander Parks Ellison, 22 is being charged with first degree arson, possession of meth and drug related objects. According to police repots Ellison had been staying in the abandoned home for several weeks.
No one injured after mobile home goes up in flames in LaFayette Monday night. LaFayette Fire Department, LaFayette Police Department, Company 8 (Walker Prison) and Puckett EMS responded to Fortune Street around 11:13 P.M. to a reported mobile home on fire fully engulfed. When firefighters arrived on scene they found a mobile home fully involved in flames. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire but the mobile home was completely destroyed. No injuries reported and the cause of the fire is currently being investigated. We will have further information once it is released.
