No injuries reported following two vehicle crash on I-75 in Catoosa County

No injuries reported following a two vehicle crash on I-75 northbound in Catoosa County Monday evening. The two vehicle crash happened around 5:00P.M. near the welcome center involving a 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche and a tractor-tailer. According to the tractor-trailer driver he was pulled over because he had a blow it. The condition on the tire was so bad that he was forced to pull over, otherwise it would've thrown parts of the tire out on the road. He got out to look, put triangles out after being told to stay put. Walked back to the truck and within about 20min the driver of the avalanche hit the trailer head on going 70mph. He said he doesn't know how he walked away, but he sure is lucky. Officials believe distracted driving played a role in a crash.

Thankfully no one was hurt. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the two vehicle crash.
