Nashville woman facing several charges following fatal crash on I-75 in Whitfield County Friday

A Nashville woman is facing several charges following fatal crash on I-75 in Whitfield County Friday. According to a Georgia State Patrol crash report at approx. 6:58 PM Friday a 2009 Ford Focus being driven by Adreneyonia Demay Ensley, 21 of Nashville was parked on the left shoulder of I-75 southbound near mile marker 332. Ensley failed to yield to traffic while merging from the left shoulder into the left outside lane of traffic. The Focus was hit by a Honda CRVS in the rear. A Jeep Utility then struck the Focus on the side. A Nissan Xterra then struck the Focus on its side. A Chevrolet box truck then hit the Focus on the side. Finally, an International truck hit the Focus on its side. The crash report says rear seat passenger Deandria Fletcher, 18, of Nashville, was fatal injury and pronounced dead on the scene. Ensley along with a second passenger in her vehicle including all the drivers of the other vehicles were injured. None were transported to a hospital. Georgia State Patrol arrested and a Whitfield County deputy booked Ensley into the Whitfield County Jail Friday night on charges of operate w/o proper tag / decal; new resident 30 days to reg, homicide by vehicle, 2nd degree, driving while license is suspended or revoked, and failure to yield when entering or crossing a roadway.
