Lyerly man injured after crashing into tree on Mahan Road in Chattooga County
According to a Georgia State Patrol crash report, 26-year-old Lyerly man lost control of his red 2003 Chevrolet S-10 truck and crashed into a large Magnolia tree off Mahan Road around 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26th. Benjamin Seger Mobbs' truck caught fire after the impact. Summerville Fire Department responded and extinguish the fire. Mobb escaped with non-life threatening injuries and was transported by EMS to Floyd Medical Center. The Georgia State Patrol cited him for failure to wear a seatbelt and failure maintain a single lane.
