Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force arrest 15-year-old in Walker County wanted for homicide in TN

Chattanooga Police with the assistance of the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred in the 3800 block of Larry Drive on September 28, 2019. The suspect, a 15-year-old male, is currently in custody in Walker County, Georgia. He is charged with Criminal Homicide, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon while in the Commission of a Felony, and Reckless Endangerment. The suspect will be extradited to Hamilton County at a later date. On September 28, 2019 at approximately 2:56 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a Motor Vehicle Crash with Injuries call in the 1500 block of Pin Oak Drive. While en route to the call, officers were informed the lone occupant of the vehicle was suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, police located the vehicle and victim in the 1500 block of Pin Oak Dr. Hamilton County EMS transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. CPD Violent Crimes Bureau responded to conduct further investigation. Investigators determined the shooting occurred in the 3800 block of Larry Drive The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
