local woman seriously injured in Wednesday morning crash in Chattooga County, GSP investigating

Two people were injured one seriously after a two vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Highway 27 near the Wildlife Food Mart just north of Summerville. A 2001 Nissan Cube was traveling southbound and a Johnny on The Spot Ford truck was traveling northbound heading toward Summerville when they collied head-on. The driver of the Nissan Kimberly Graham of Chattooga County was seriously injured in the crash and was transported local hospital in Rome. She was airlifted by Life Force to Erlanger in Chattanooga Thursday evening. The driver of the Ford was transported to local Hospital in Rome with non-life-threatening injuries. The Cause of the crash is unknown and is being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol Post 38 in Rome.
