Hixson woman facing several charges including DUI after crash in Catoosa County Thursday morning

According to a Georgia State Patrol crash and incident report, on Thursday, May 28th, 2020, at around 1:12 AM, a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro being driven by Seanna Arrington, 21 of Hixson, TN, was traveling westbound on Three Notch Road negotiating a right curve near Mel McDaniel Road. Arrington was traveling too fast into the curve and lost control of the Camaro. The Camaro crossed the centerline and into the eastbound lane and continued off the left side shoulder of the roadway. The Camaro traveled down an embankment striking a wooden fence and a tree with its front. After impact, the Camaro rotated counter-clockwise and came to a final rest facing south. A witness stated to the investigating trooper he was traveling westbound and noticed a Camaro was approaching him from the rear at a high rate of speed. The witness advised as the Camaro was getting closer, the Camaro passed him going into the curve, and as he approached the curve, he noticed the Camaro had gone off the left side shoulder. The investigating trooper advised the Camaro had heavy damage. As the trooper walked up to the vehicle, medics advised that the driver was going in and out of consciousness and that she was lying head down in the passenger floorboard with her feet lying across the driver seat. Once Catoosa County Fire extracted her from the vehicle she was laid on the stretcher, the trooper advised he could smell a very strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person. When the trooper asked Seanna how much she had to drink, and she advised she didn't know. Based on the trooper's observation and smelling the strong odor of alcohol, he read Seanna the Georgia Implied Consent 21 or older and asked for blood. Seanna stated yes, and Puckett EMS EMT drew blood. Seanna was transported to Erlanger Medical in Chattanooga. Inside the vehicle, the trooper found an almost empty bottle of Aristocrat Vodka laying in the passenger floor broad. Due to Seanna being transported to Tennessee, warrants were taken out through Catoosa County. The warrants were for DUI, possession of open container in vehicle passenger area, passing in a no-passing zone, seatbelt, too fast for conditions, and failure to maintain lane. (Contributed photo)
