Georgia State Patrol investigating serious golf cart crash in Whitfield County Sunday night

According to the Georgia State Patrol, four juveniles were on a golf cart that wrecked Sunda around 6:40P.M. on Charolais Trail in the Highland Forest subdivision in northern Whitfield County. According to Georgia State Trooper Cody Cantrell, the golf cart fell over on its side after the driver lost control. Three of the juveniles had minor injuries but one was thrown from the golf cart and suffered a serious head injury. Audrey Grace Holder a student at Northwest Whitfield High was flown by a Life Force helicopter to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. The crash is still under investigation.
