Georgia State Patrol investigating serious crash on Highway 27 in Walker County Saturday morning

The passenger on the moped 21-year-old Jessica Lolla of Dalton succumbed to her injuries sustained in the serious moped crash.

According to the Georgia State Patrol Two people were seriously injured after they were struck by a Ford F150 while on a moped on Highway 27 in Walker County Saturday morning. The crash happened just before 9:30A.M. on Highway 27 just south of Dixie Collision. A Kymco 50 moped being driven by 36-year-old Anson Miller of Dalton was traveling south on the outside lane of Highway 27 when it was hit from rear by a 2015 Ford F150. The driver of the moped Anson Miller was transported to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga in serious condition by Puckett EMS. Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the two vehicle crash they say charges are pending. We will have further information once it is released.
