Four people injured in two-vehicle crash Saturday in Chattooga County

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash GA-1 at the Gore crossroads on Saturday afternoon. According to a Georgia State Patrol crash report a 17-year-old from Summerville was heading South on GA-1 when he turned in front of a vehicle. The teen was turning east onto Gore-Subligna when he struck a tan 2014 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Amy Jean Thurston, 42, of Rome. Campbell's vehicle overturned onto its left side. Both driver's complained of injuries. However, Thurston had two passengers, Alice Thurston, 68, and Jenni Thurston, 40, who were both taken by ambulance to Floyd Medical Center. The teen was cited for making an improper left turn.
