Driver uninjured after crashing and becoming lodged underneath tractor-trailer in Chattooga County

According to Georgia State Patrol reports Jeffery Allen white, 56, of LaFayette Georgia was traveling southbound on Highway 27 near Magnolia Court in Chattooga County last month. White was in his red 1999 Honda Accord behind a Mack truck and trailer driven by Jimmy Dell Dixson of Henagar Alabama. White told the investigating trooper that after the tractor-trailer changed lanes, he noticed a vehicle stopped ahead in the left lane attempting to make a left turn onto Magnolia Court. He told the trooper he attempted to stop, but lost control of his vehicle. The Honda Accord crossed into the first lane from the right shoulder and struck the driver side of the trailer with passenger side of the Accord. The Honda Accord became entrapped underneath the trailer and was drug a good distance before the tractor-trailer could come to a complete stop. Though the Honda Accord suffered significant damage in the crash the driver Mr. White was uninjured. He was cited by the Georgia State Trooper for failure to maintain single lane.
