Driver ejected and airlifted after crashing on East Highway 136 in Walker County Saturday night
Georgia State patrol says charges are pending after a driver was ejected in a single vehicle crash on East Highway 136 in Walker County Saturday night. The crash happened near on East Highway 136 about a mile from the Gordon County line. According to preliminary information the Toyota was passing a vehicle while negotiating a curve westbound on Highway 136. The Toyota went off the roadway on the eastbound side and flipped serval times before coming to rest against a tree. The driver was ejected in the crash and airlifted by LifeForce to Erlanger in Chattanooga. The driver was said to have been alert and talking before being airlifted from the scene. Alcohol was found at the scene of the crash and may have been a factor in crash. We will have further information once the crash report id released.
