Dalton man facing DUI charges after barreling through a crash scene Thursday night in Walker County
Dalton man is facing several charges including DUI after barreling through a crash scene Thursday night in Walker County. Several units were on scene of serious crash at the intersection of South Highway 27 and Highway 337 (Shattuck Industrial Blvd). While firefighters were extracting a patient involved in the crash a vehicle traveling at very high rate of speed being driven by Trevor Beebe 46, of Dalton address flew through the scene. Beebe nearly hit a deputy directing traffic and several firefighters before running over some Walker County Fire Rescue equipment being used for extrication. Walker County deputy got Beebe stopped and preformed a field sobriety test where he determined Beebe was extremely intoxicated. Beebe was booked into the Walker County Jail on charges of driving while under the influence (DUI) and driving while license suspended.
