Dalton man arrested on felony theft charges after stealing vehicle, shoplifting and entering an auto

According to a three Dalton Police Department incident reports, On May 12th, 2020 at approximately 7:20 PM, Officer Hammontree, met with Lt. Bishop on Shugart Road in reference to a shoplifting that had occurred on April 25th. The store owner, of Nizzie's Package store at 1902 Chattanooga Road alerted Lt. Bishop that he recognized two individuals walking in the area of Shugart Road from the shoplifting. Lt. Bishop located Rhett Satterfield and Kaycee Hall walking south on Shugart Road. The officer was able to take a photo of them to show to the owner. Once back at the store, the officer showed the photo of Rhett and Kaycee to him to see if they were the correct people. The owner immediately stated, "That's him, he stole liquor from my store". The owner showed the officer store video showing Rhett select a $15.00 bottle of Captain Morgan white rum and walk out with the liquor concealed underneath his jacket without paying. The owner wished for both subjects to be trespassed which they were advised by the officer. A warrant for theft by shoplifting was issued for Rhett. On May 19th, 2020, at approximately 8:43 AM, an officer was dispatched to 1615 Environs Lane Weems Engineering in reference to entering auto that occurred on the 17th. The victim stated a male and female broke into two black trailers on the property, a Grey Ford F250, and a white Freightliner flatbed truck and stole over $2500 worth of power tools. The officer was given the security footage showing the entering auto involving a male and female. Both suspects were observed walking around the property and taking items. At one point, the male entered the trailer from the top, and the female followed soon after. After several minutes inside the trailer, the male exited out of the top and began to search for something to bust open and pry the trailer door. It seemed that the female was stuck inside and couldn't get out. After several passes around the lot, the male was able to find something to break the entire hinge off the trailer door and bust the sides to get the female out of the trailer. The suspects were able to take two Dewalt drills, two Dewalt impacts, 2 1/2'' drive Dewalt impacts, and 7-8 20 v/6 amp Dewalt batteries, which totaled at least $2500 in value. Several other hand tools were taken as well with an unknown value at the time of the report. Most of the power tools made by Dewalt will have initials on them of the crew that worked with them. According to the report, Rhett was charged in connection to the entering auto. The report also list Kaycee Dawn Hall, 24 as a suspect wanted in connection to the entering auto. A month earlier on April 26th, 2020, an officer took a report for stolen 1998 Toyota Camry taken from an address on Druid Lane in Dalton. The elderly victim stated she kept the only set of keys in the unlocked vehicle. Warrants were issued for Rhett in connection with the stolen vehicle. On June 12th, 2020, Rhett Lee Satterfield, 24 of Dalton, was booked into the Whitfield County Jail charged with by the Dalton Police Department with misdemeanor shoplifting, entering an automobile with the intent to commit theft or felony and felony theft by taking/larceny/theft of an automobile. on April 26th, 2020 Rhett was booked into the Murray County Jail on charges of theft by receiving stolen property-felony, burglary – dwelling house or any building, vehicle, or other structure designed for use as the dwelling, theft by taking-misdemeanor, driving while license suspended or revoked – 1st offense
