Chickamauga man injured after crashing motorcycle in Walker County, facing several charges
According to the Georgia State Patrol crash report, on Sunday, June 14th, 2020, at around 12:20, 2014 Honda CTX700N being driven by Ronald Parris, 67 of Chickamauga was traveling northbound on North Marble Top Road near Bowen Lane. Parris passed the witness's vehicle in a no-passing zone. After improperly passing, Parris approached a curve traveling too fast for conditions and lost control of the motorcycle. The Honda traveled off the left side of the roadway and came to a final uncontrolled rest in the southbound ditch. The area of impact was determined using the final rest of the motorcycle, skid marks in the northbound lane, and witnesses 1 and 2’s statements. Parris suffered minor injuries and was transported to Erlanger by Puckett EMS. Parris was charged by the investigating trooper with no insurance, passing in no-passing zone, and driving on suspended licenses. Below is a previous mugshot from earlier this year of Parris from Whitfield County, where he was arrested for shoplifting.
