Chickamauga man charged with DUI after crashing on Highway 341 in Walker County
According to the Georgia State Patrol: "On Sept. 4, at approximately 8:45 p.m., vehicle 1 (2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser) was traveling northbound on GA 341 negotiating a curve. The driver identified as Wyatt Oliver, age 32 of Chickamauga crossed over the centerline and lost control of the FJ Cruiser. The FJ Cruiser originally struck a mailbox, then a utility pole, and then two other mailboxes. The FJ Cruiser came to a final rest on the left side of the roadway, with disabling damage. The area of impacts was determined using property damage, vehicle property damage, and the final rest of the FJ Cruiser. This crash report is not complete. Oliver was injured but not transported. Oliver was charged with DUI/Alcohol, Possession of Open Container in Vehicle Passenger Area, Failure to Maintain Lane, and No Proof of Insurance."
