Chickamauga man arrested after leading Fort Oglethorpe PD on a chase Friday night ending in a crash
A Chickamauga man arrested Friday night after leading Fort Oglethorpe Police on a brief chase Friday night ending in crash. The chase happened around 7:30 P.M. when a Fort Oglethorpe Police Officer attempted to stop a Nissan Maxima driven by Thomas Lee Arnsdorf, 27 of Rogers Road, Chickamauga on LaFayette Road. The officer observed a physical domestic taken place inside the vehicle. A brief pursuit ensued turning onto Old LaFayette Road then onto Diane Lane where the Nissan Maxima overturned and crashed at the dead end. Thomas Arnsdorf was arrested and booked into the Catoosa County Jail on multiple charges including fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer - misdemeanor, simple battery - misdemeanor, obedience to traffic control device, speeding (40/25), and driving while license suspended or revoked (misdemeanor).
