Carjacking suspect arrested after high-speed chase from Chattanooga ends in Catoosa County
A Chattanooga man is being charged with multiple felonies after leading Chattanooga PD on high speed chase which ended in Catoosa County early Monday morning. According to scanner traffic Chattanooga PD was chasing a Pontiac G6 that was carjacked in East Ridge. Catoosa County was notified of the high-speed chase heading southbound on I-75 shortly before 2:30A.M.. Jacob Taylor Stevens, 20 of a Chattanooga address was arrested and charged with theft by bringing stolen property into state - felony, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer - felony, possession of tools for commission of a crime- felony, and reckless driving- felony more charges are expected. A passenger in the vehicle Syde Landry, 18 of a Chattanooga address was arrested for probation violation out of Hamilton County.
