Calhoun woman shoplifts valentine's cards, USB cord from Dollar General, found in possession of meth

According to a Dalton Police Department incident report on Friday, February 14th, 2020, an officer responded to a theft in progress at 1004 Riverburch Parkway, the Dollar General. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with loss prevention, who stated that she noticed a customer later identified as Nicole Quinn, 34, of Calhoun Pick up merchandise and put it in her pocket. The officer approached Quinn outside of the Dollar General and asked if she stole something, she needs to return it. Quinn advised she did steal two red and pink valentine's cards and a black USB cord. Quinn turned the items over to the officer. Quinn was arrested for shoplifting. During a search of Quinn's belongings, the officer found a blue USB charger inside her book bag that she had stolen from the Dollar General, and he also found a glass meth pipe. Inside of the glass meth pipe was a white crystal substance, later field-tested positive for methamphetamine Quinn was transported to the Whitfield County Jail charged with shoplifting, possession of drug-related, and possession of methamphetamine.
