Calhoun fire chief arrested for DUI

As first reported by Fox 5 in Atlanta, City of Calhoun fire chief Leonard Nesbitt was arrested on November 10th in Fannin County Georgia for driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane. Reports sat a Fannin County Sheriff Deputy spotted Nesbitt failing to maintain his lane and initiated a traffic stop. The sheriff deputy requested a Georgia State trooper to the scene. A arrest report by the Georgia State Patrol says Nesbitt told the trooper he only had three beers after blowing a .12 blood alcohol level on a breathalyzer. The charges against Nesbitt were resolved by the Blue Ridge City Court on Dec. 10 without a conviction according to a press release.
